These options can be available to students as they are successful in the core areas as required by the Standards of Accreditation.

OFFICE ASSISTANTS

The criteria to become an office assistant are as follows:

Early Admission - PVCC and J. Sargeant Reybnolds Community College

Early admission to PVCC/JSRCC is designed for academically strong, accelerated high school seniors who wish to complete their high school course requirements by taking PVCC/JSRCC college courses. Seniors are usually admitted into this program in the fall semester and become regular, full-time PVCC/JSRCC students. These students must arrange for their PVCC/JSRCC transcripts to be sent back to the high school in the spring in order to certify the completion of their high school program. Fluvanna County School Board reserves the right to seek reimbursement from the parents of any student who does not successfully complete the coursework and the expectations for attendance in any course that the student has chosen to enroll . Questions regarding this statement should be brought forward at the time of registration. Students are full time at PVCC taking all of their courses on PVCC campus. A contact is required to be signed by the parent and student prior to enrollment in any courses. At PVCC.

Dual Admission - PVCC and J. Sargeant Reybnolds Community College

Education beyond high school is needed for many careers. Piedmont Virginia Community College & J Sargeant Reynolds Community College offer options so that students can experience success in college-level courses and be encouraged to pursue further training. Fluvanna County School Board reserves the right to seek reimbursement from the parents of any student who does not successfully complete the coursework and the expectations for attendance in any course that the student has chosen to enroll. Questions regarding this statement should be brought forward at the time of registration. Students are enrolled in classes part time at PVCC. A contract is required to be signed by the parent and student prior to enrollment in any courses at PVCC.

Charlottesville/Albemarle Technical Center

Students in the eleventh and twelfth grades may apply to take courses at the Charlottesville/Albemarle Technical Educational Center. Students may choose from such courses as auto mechanics, culinary arts, or cosmetology. These expanded offerings may have certain limitations and are available on a space available basis. Fluvanna County High School and the Fluvanna County School Board reserve the right to seek reimbursement from the parents of any student who does not successfully complete the coursework and expectations of attendance for any course that the student has chosen to enroll in . A contract is required to be signed by the parent and student prior to enrollment in any course at CATEC.
