TSIP Assessments
General Information
Your building TSIP Coordinator will provide you with a portfolio folder to assist you in keeping track of your competency in each of the areas outlined by the Code of Virginia. You are responsible for keeping up with your own TSIP portfolio and providing the required documentation, when requested, for annual evaluation and/or license renewal.

All assessments are performance based, except Standard 2 (vocabulary) and Standard 8 (copyright and acceptable use). Each of these assessments are in quiz format. Review the web page for each of these assessments in order to familiarize yourself with the material that will appear on each quiz.
Other than Standards 2 and 8, all assessments are provided here for your preview and practice. You are encouraged to attend training prior to taking assessments for any areas in which you do not feel proficient.
Information for Accessing Online Assessments
- Do not access online assessments until you are ready to take them. Once you click the link to take the test - you will be forced to complete it or exit without a score. Either way, you will be locked out of it until you request that it be reset.
