Schools have been asked to partner with the VA Department of Education to offer a viewing of the Commonwealth Conversation on Restoring Childhood through Common Sense Approaches to Social Media and Cell Phones Fireside Chat with the First Lady of Virginia and Author and Researcher Dr. Jonathan Haidt. The purpose of this event is to discuss the findings of The Anxious Generation and how it informs our communities and schools in limiting social media and cell phone use to restore childhood and play.

If you are in need of a pair of shoes and a coat for your child, please contact Carysbrook Elementary School at 434-842-1005 to sign up. Families on the list will meet at Walmart on August 8, 2024 at 4:00-6:00 p.m/ to pick out a pair of shoes.
