This morning we were notified of a significant water leak just next to the Carysbrook Performing Arts Center. The necessary repairs will require all water to be shut off to Carysbrook Elementary for the entire day. Accordingly, we will be dismissing Carysbrook students at 10:30 AM, following distribution of lunch.
No other schools will dismiss early - FCHS, FMS, Abrams and Central will remain in school for a full day today.

On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., the Fluvanna County School Board will adopt the FY27 operating budget during its regular meeting.
The meeting will be held in the auditorium at the Fluvanna School Board Office, located at 14455 James Madison Highway, Palmyra, VA.
We’re excited to invite students, families, and staff to attend our upcoming Career & Technical Education Community Night at FCHS!
This event is a chance to explore the incredible opportunities available through our CTE programs — including industry certifications, internships, and hands-on career pathways. Local business professionals, colleges, universities, and representatives from the U.S. Armed Forces will be on site to share resources, answer questions, and connect with our community.
