Fluvanna County Public Schools is hosting a Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Course July 11–13, 2025, in partnership with NAEMT.
They are looking for 15–20 adult volunteers to serve as role players during a hands-on emergency response simulation on:
📅 Sunday, July 13, 2025, 🕚 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM 📍 Fluvanna County High School
Volunteers will act as trauma victims (moulage makeup included!) and help bring realism to the evacuation phase of emergency care training for law enforcement and first responders.
🎭 No experience needed—just a willingness to participate and play along!

May 21, 2025, is the last day of school for FCPS students. There will be an early dismissal as follows:
11:45 am - Carysbrook and FMS
12:10 pm - Central
12:40 pm - FCHS

Exciting FCPS Literacy Newsletter!
Five FMS teams competed at the KidWind Challenge on March 25th. Jamband, DEAL JLARJ, JOE, and the Jet Engines represented Fluvanna at Alumni Hall at the University of Virginia. Team JOE and JLARJ won 1st and 2nd Place, respectively, in the middle school solar division, Jamband won the Judges Good Sportsmanship Award, and the Jet Engines won the Judges Award for Unique Blade Design. JOE and JLARJ competed at the state championship on April 12 but did not place. Way to go, Flucos!
