This morning, FMS will be participating in the Great Southeast Shakeout, an earthquake preparedness drill. This drill is scheduled to take place at 10:17am. As an announcement is read over the intercom, students and staff will practice “drop, cover, and hold on” protocol which will be followed by a building evacuation. The safety of everyone in our school is very important, therefore we must practice and be prepared in case of a true emergency. Again, this is just a drill!

The conference will be held on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Charlottesville Area Technical Education Center (CATEC), 1000 East Rio Road, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
