We welcome your feedback on the draft calendar proposal for the 2025-2026 school year.

A draft proposal will be presented to the school board for first review at the January 2025 board meeting, and for action at the February 2025 school board meeting.

Our Parent Resource Center has organized a conference called "Family Partners in Special Education: Empowering Families, Transforming Futures."
The conference will be held on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Charlottesville Area Technical Education Center (CATEC), 1000 East Rio Road, Charlottesville, VA 22901.

Schools have been asked to partner with the VA Department of Education to offer a viewing of the Commonwealth Conversation on Restoring Childhood through Common Sense Approaches to Social Media and Cell Phones Fireside Chat with the First Lady of Virginia and Author and Researcher Dr. Jonathan Haidt. The purpose of this event is to discuss the findings of The Anxious Generation and how it informs our communities and schools in limiting social media and cell phone use to restore childhood and play.
