Good evening FLUCO families, FCPS will be closed on Friday, 2/14/25, due to a refreezing, black ice, and standing water on our roadways during the morning commute.  Disregard the most recent notification you received specific to our scheduled early dismissal for tomorrow as this alert was created as a reminder for families prior to the onset of inclement weather. This is an updated notification based on our safety review with the VDOT, FCPS Transportation and Maintenance Departments along with Administrative staff.   The conditions forecasted for the morning make it extremely dangerous for our student drivers, staff, and buses. The Fluvanna County School Board approves the 2025-2026 school calendar on February 12, 2025.

Early Dismissal for All Students on Friday, February 14, 2025. Carysbrook Elementary: 11:45 a.m. Fluvanna Middle School: 11:45 a.m. Central Elementary: 12:10 p.m. Fluvanna Co. High School: 12:40 p.m. All schools and offices will be closed on Monday, February 17, 2025.

Fluvanna Adult Education Classes will begin Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Classes are free and include GED preparation, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Citizenship Preparation.
